Explora Journeys appoints six global/regional sales pros
Explora Journeys bulked up its commercial team with six appointments in global and regional roles. All are luxury cruise veterans.

Helen Beck, head of global sales excellence, is responsible for supporting the commercial global field sales leaders and the Explora Journeys Experience Center and team of ambassadors. She's based in Geneva.
Beck spent five years as VP international sales and marketing with Crystal Cruises and 16 years with Royal Caribbean Group as regional director, international representatives, EMEA.
Regional sales heads
Four new heads of sales were apponted for local markets.
Saul Fonseca is head of sales, USA East and the Americas, based in Miami. He was with The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection and throughout his 19 years of cruise industry work, he also held sales positions with Silversea Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
Aimee Price, head of sales USA West and Canada, based in Seattle, brings 30 years of cruise experience, most recently at Seabourn where she led the North America sales team. Earlier she spent 28 years with Royal Caribbean International.
Priti Mehta, head of sales UK & Ireland, based in London, brings 30 years of sales and marketing experience in the luxury travel industry, mostly in the cruise sector. She previously was senior director, sales UK & Ireland at Oceania Cruises and held sales positions with Silversea and Norwegian Cruise Line.
Francisco Sanchez, head of sales for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, spent 11 years with Holland America Line and Seabourn in key sales leadership roles for the Germany, Austria, Switzerland region. He is based in Frankfurt.
Business relationships lead
And Leyre Torres Campo, business relationships lead, Southern Europe, is responsible for creating brand awareness, identifying and developing key partnerships in Spain, France and Italy. Most recently Leyre was business developer manager for Southern and Eastern Europe and the Middle East for Regent Seven Seas Cruises. She is based in Nice.
All report to Chris Austin, chief sales officer at Explora Journeys, who said: 'The new team members all have long-established relationships, built on a solid foundation of trust, credibility and experience within the luxury cruise and hospitality industry.'
