FCCA-PortMiami Return To Sail Summit has top cruise line brass

This daylong live event hosted and sponsored by PortMiami will be open to a maximum of 200 attendees in addition to top brass from FCCA member lines and is expected to sell out.

Chairmen, CEOs, presidents

Ten cruise line chairmen, CEOs or presidents are expected to share their 'View from the Top,' plus nearly 20 other high-level executives will take part in operations and employment workshops.

The 'View from the Top' will discuss when and how cruising will return to the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America and South America.

It features Micky Arison, chairman of Carnival Corp. & plc and FCCA chairman (invited) along with Richard Fain, chairman and CEO, Royal Caribbean Group; Frank Del Rio, president and CEO, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings; Jan Swartz, president, Princess Cruises and group president, Holland America Group; Christine Duffy, president, Carnival Cruise Line; Michael Bayley, president and CEO, Royal Caribbean International; Harry Sommer, president and CEO, Norwegian Cruise Line; Rubén Rodríguez, president, MSC Cruises USA; and Tom McAlpin, president and CEO, Virgin Voyages.

Operations workshop

Cruise executives from the FCCA Operations Committee will share details on the new protocols in cruise destinations, including the impact for tour operators and shore excursion operations. The discussion is to be moderated by FCCA Operations Chairman Russell Benford, VP government relations - Americas, Royal Caribbean Group.

Participants include Marie McKenzie, VP global ports & Caribbean government, Carnival Corp.; Erika Tache, senior director, operations & revenue - shore excursions, Carnival Cruise Line and FCCA Shore Excursion chairman; José Fernandez, VP port strategy development & operations, Disney Cruise Line (invited); Albino Di Lorenzo, VP cruise operations, MSC Cruises USA; Steve Moeller, SVP commercial development, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings; Josh Carroll, VP destination development, Royal Caribbean Group; Emilio Freeman, VP iItineraries & destinations, SeaDream Yacht Club; and Juan Trescastro, senior director, itineraries, destinations, shore excursions & government, Virgin Voyages.

And, at another workshop, the newly formed FCCA Employment Committee will share some of the recent developments that create opportunities for cruise line jobs.
