He had been chief strategy & financial officer until Alain Ferzli's recent appointment as CFO then continued as chief strategy officer.

Invaluable contributions

Mallmann 'made the decision to leave his role of chief strategy officer at Azamara to pursue new opportunities,' Chairman Dan Hanrahan said in a statement to Seatrade Cruise News. 'We thank Francisco for his invaluable contributions to the company, and we wish him the best with his future endeavors.'

Mallmann had been an analyst in revenue managment at Celebrity Cruises before being appointed manager, revenue management for Azamara in late 2009, then moving up to director and adding strategic planning in late 2013. He advanced to AVP and then VP strategy & finance, becoming chief strategy & financial officer in 2021.
