Colburne brings a wealth of experience in business strategy, communications and branding, stakeholder engagement and workforce development. She has worked with innovation founders, CEOs and start-ups to accelerate their vision and navigate transformational change.

In addition to building her own consulting business, she has worked with Engage Nova Scotia as managing director and, before that, she led teams at two of the region’s leading public relations firms.

As chair of the Port Community Liaison Committee, Colburne has been instrumental in fostering communication between the Halifax Port Authority and the broader community.

Capt. Allan Gray, president and CEO, Halifax Port Authority, welcomed Colburne, having worked with her in her role as independent chair of the Port Community Liaison Committee.
