'The Changing Dynamic of Shore Excursions' delves into how tour operators have reinvented to survive, how tour content has changed, how travelers have changed and how tour operators are dealing with transportation challenges and food-handling changes.

Participants include Geoffrey Burleton, director of shore excursions, Celebrity Cruises; Denise Clark, hospitality/tourism consultant specialized in guest experience assessment/improvement; Rinat Glinert, COO, Venture Ashore; Virginia Quintairos, global business development director, Intercruises; and Elena Vlad, director, shore excursion product development and operations, Holland America Group.

Shannon McKee, president, Access Cruise and Seatrade Cruise Global ambassador for ports & destinations, will moderate the session, set for 1:15 p.m. April 25.

And, from the port operations experts ... 

Cruise line and port/destination experts will address 'How COVID Has Changed Operations' at 1 p.m. April 26.

They include Albino di Lorenzo, VP North America operations, MSC Cruises; Alex Napp, managing director, PWL Port Services; Olga Piqueras, managing director, Intercruises; and John Portelli, GM, Roma Cruise Terminal.

The session is moderated by Mark Robinson, newly named VP cruise operations, Scenic Group.
