Kacy Cole moved up to chief marketing officer at Holland America Line after joining as VP marketing and e-commerce in 2021.

Under Cole’s leadership, the line said it experienced record bookings, fueled by new integrated initiatives and increased e-commerce. In addition, she led the transition to paid digital media in-house, allowing greater agility and scale of communications.

Cole will continue to report to Beth Bodensteiner, chief commercial officer.

Catapulted marketing and e-commerce efforts

'Kacy and her team have done an amazing job to catapult our marketing and e-commerce efforts at a time when rebuilding our business has been critical, always leading with a guest-centric, digital-first and data-driven approach,' Bodensteiner said. 'Under her leadership, we have been able to implement new data strategies, transition to a more robust web platform and launch campaigns that better reflect and connect with our guests.'

As CMO, Cole will continue to use her digital marketing expertise to enhance Holland America’s strategic focus and enrich the consumer experience. Her role continues to support brand initiatives in trade and consumer channels and encompasses all guest touchpoints from onboard to website and app development.

Prior to joining Holland America Line, Cole was SVP marketing at digital creator platform LTK (formerly rewardStyle + LikeToKnow. It) where she was responsible for global marketing functions.
