Holland America taps Jenny Verna as South Florida BDM

Jenny Verna joins from Unique Vacations, an affiliate of Unique Travel Corp., the worldwide representative of Sandals and Beaches Resorts
Holland America Line appointed Jenny Verna as business development manager for the South Florida region, covering central and eastern Florida.

Based in Miami, Verna will work to build relationships with local travel advisors and help them grow their Holland America business.

Verna reports to Michelle Sutter, VP North America sales.

Ambitious, knowledgeable, experienced

'Jenny is extremely ambitious and knowledgeable with a tremendous amount of experience in the travel industry, and we are thrilled to have join our sales team representing Holland America Line in South Florida,' Sutter said. 'Not only does Jenny bring a fresh perspective, but she also has established relationships with many of our local partners. This will be a benefit as she continues to grow our brand in one of the biggest cruising markets in the world.'

Most recently, Verna was the Central Florida business development manager for Unique Vacations, an affiliate of Unique Travel Corp., the worldwide representative of Sandals and Beaches Resorts. Prior to that, she was a sales and catering coordinator at the Crowne Plaza Miami Airport Hotel. She also held roles of varying responsibility with Marriott Hotels and Adventure Island.

Fluent in French and Haitian creole, Verna is working to add Spanish to her language repertoire.
