Hurtigruten Group appoints hotels veteran as chief commercial officer

Steven Taylor brings experience from Accor, Shangri-La and Starwood
Hurtigruten Group appointed Steven Taylor as its new chief commercial officer.

Taylor joins from Accor Hotels & Resorts, where he was chief marketing officer the past four years. Previous experience was with Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts as chief commercial officer for two years. Earlier, during nearly 12 years with Starwood Hotels & Resorts, he held a variety of roles, ultimately, VP marketing, Europe, Africa, Middle East.

Ambitious growth plans

His 'wealth of experience in the travel and hospitality sector will hugely enhance our ambitious growth plans and help maximize visibility of our brands while attracting and nurturing engagement with new and existing guests,' said Daniel Skjeldam, CEO of Hurtigruten Group.

Based in London, Taylor will lead the development and execution of strategic commercial initiatives as part of Hurtigruten's executive management team.
