Jennifer Vandekreeke has a new role with NRMA Expeditions
Jennifer Vandekreeke, who launched Carnival Cruise Line’s international operation in Australia in 2011, is now executive general manager customer - NRMA Expeditions, the tourism arm of Australia’s National Roads and Motorists Association.

Vandekreeke, who announced her departure as VP and GM Australia for Carnival Cruise Line in June, will report to NRMA Expeditions CEO Rachel Wiseman.

Tasmanian portfolio

Earlier this year the NRMA acquired a portfolio of hotels and a local cruise company from its Tasmanian counterpart, the Royal Automobile Club of Tasmania, as part of its plans to become Australia’s biggest tourism company.

It included the renowned Freycinet Lodge, Cradle Mountain Hotel and Gordon River Cruises.

Coral Expeditions

NRMA Expeditions will also oversee NRMA’s stake in Cairns-based Coral Expeditions, reported here in February.

Future growth

Vandekreeke said the job presents a new and exciting challenge.

‘I look forward to helping grow the business,’ she said.
