Jethro Beck joins American Queen Voyages from Ritz-Carlton

Capt. Jethro Beck brings extensive experience to his new role
American Queen Voyages hired Capt. Jethro Beck as VP marine operations to oversee the company’s river fleet.

He is responsible for nautical, technical, compliance, safety and security.

David Kelly, EVP American Queen Voyages, said Beck's 'extensive experience commanding large vessel fleets as well as shipyard management will be an asset to the team as we continue to grow our footprint across North America.'

15 years with Holland America

Beck most recently served as senior director of marine operations for start-up The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. Before that he spent more than 15 years with Holland America Line, the last five as director of marine operations for Holland America Group, also serving Seabourn, Princess Cruises and P&O Australia.

A captain, Beck has commanded ships for HAL and worked at sea with Shell Oil and Global Marine Systems.
