Carnival Cruise Line Australia’s director of marketing and PR, Kara Glamore, has replaced Jennifer Vandekreeke as vice president.

As reported here, Vandekreeke, who launched Carnival Cruise Line’s international operation in Australia in 2011, resigned last month.

Expedia experience

Glamore joined the company in 2019 and has worked for major global brands including Kraft, Nestle and Expedia.

‘It has been a pleasure working with the Carnival team these past two years and I’m honoured to take this next step as vice president,’ Glamore said.

‘There is much to look forward to once we resume cruising within Australia.

‘Aussies will have more opportunities to explore their beautiful backyard by sea than ever before and Queenslanders will be able to enjoy the fun of a Carnival cruise without leaving the state as Carnival Spirit moves to her new Brisbane homeport,’ she said.

Loeb promoted

Anton Loeb, a founding member of the Carnival Australia team, has been promoted to the newly created role of senior director sales and marketing.
