Linda Springmann to direct Port of Seattle cruise operations/maritime marketing

Holland America Group's Linda Springmann is joining the Port of Seattle as director, cruise and maritime marketing.

She will lead the cruise and maritime marketing department, serving on the maritime leadership team, managing a staff of cruise and marketing professionals, and partnering with external stakeholders.

Responsible for cruise development and operations

Springmann will be responsible for all cruise development and operations as well as marketing for the port's maritime departments.

She succeeds Mike McLaughlin, who retired last June after 35 years with the port. 

Experience in revenue, deployment, itinerary planning, marketing

Springmann brings more than 25 years of cruise industry experience. She has served as VP onboard revenue for Holland America Line, Princess Cruises and Seabourn, VP deployment and itinerary planning for Holland America and Seabourn and VP Alaska marketing and director of product marketing for Holland America.

Springmann also was a governor-appointed member of the Alaska Travel Industry Association for eight years and chaired its marketing committee. She has served on the board of the Seattle Aquarium and Gray Line Worldwide.
