Rose will report into Jo Rzymowska, VP & managing director Celebrity Cruises, EMEA and will oversee all aspects of brand, marketing and PR for Celebrity Cruises’ EMEA region.

Rose joins from Expedia Group, where she served as senior director, Expedia brand strategy and before that senior director of both marketing & propositions and global loyalty for Hotels.com.

Brand strategy

She has led teams across a range of marketing disciplines including SEO, customer insights, mobile marketing and brand strategy, and has been instrumental in defining compelling propositions to drive long-term customer engagement.

Celebrity Beyond launched in Southampton and Celebrity has a total of six ships sailing in Europe this summer, including Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Apex. All three of its Edge-class ships will sail in Europe in 2023, along with four others.

‘Lisa is joining at an incredibly exciting time,’ noted Rzymowska. ‘Her long-term vision, strategic thinking and strong leadership align with Celebrity Cruises and our commitment to growth and innovation in the travel industry.’

Rose commented, ‘As consumer demand returns, along with significant brand investment into new ships to attract new types of consumers to cruising, the potential for growth is hugely exciting.’

Prior to joining Expedia Group, Rose spent eight years across roles at British Sky Broadcasting and Diageo.
