He will oversee sales efforts across all markets globally.
New role for Bob Lepisto
President Bob Lepisto, who until recently has supervised global sales, will continue to be an important contributor to the executive team, according to Andreas Brynestad, as he spearheads SeaDream's charter business, still reporting directly to Brynestad.
Lepisto has been with SeaDream since 2001, the year the company was founded.
'Continued growth of our charter business is crucial for our future success,' Brynestad said. 'I am thrilled that Bob will take on this important role, and utilize his network, knowledge and skills focusing on further improving the way we work with charters.'
Silversea, Crystal, Expedia, AmaWaterways, Carnival
Littlejohn joined SeaDream after a long-term consulting engagement with Silversea Cruises, where he worked on a variety of strategic initiatives. Before that he spent six years as SVP and managing director of Crystal River Cruises, building the former Crystal Cruises’ division from scratch into an award-winning five-ship ultra-luxury line.
He began his cruise industry career as a summer intern in college, joining Carnival Cruise Line after graduation to become one of its youngest regional sales managers. Following Carnival, Littlejohn founded his own New Jersey-based travel agency, which he owned for over a decade. He also held key positions at Expedia Inc. and AmaWaterways.
'Best kept secret' in cruising
Littlejohn said he's excited to join SeaDream, calling it a company that 'for decades has set the standard for modern, casual luxury ... It is a unique product that goes above and beyond any other. At the same time, SeaDream is the best kept secret in the industry, with a tremendous potential for further growth. I am really looking forward to letting more people in on the secret and working closely with travel retail partners to welcome more guests on board.'
He reports to Andreas Brynestad.
