Reporting to Carla Salvadó, marketing and commercial deputy director, Cano will concentrate mainly on the cargo side of the port’s business.

Cano has spent more than 17 years working at the Ports of Catalonia government and has been responsible for growing both Palamós and Roses as cruise ports and Costa Brava as a cruise destination during that time.

MedCruise director roles

She has also held various board of director roles between 2005-2023 within MedCruise, culminating in Costa Brava hosting the 60th MedCruise general assembly in 2022.

Cano studied for a Management Development Program (PMD) at IESE in 2021, complementing a master's degree earned in 2004 and an earlier bachelor’s degree.
