MSC Cruises promotes Lisa Teiotu to MD Australasia

Teiotu, who joined the company in November 2019, was previously commercial director Australasia, responsible for overseeing local operations and commercial activities.

She also was charged with promoting the brand to the travel trade community, as well as consumers.

Prior to this, she was head of business development in Australia and New Zealand for Royal Caribbean.

In line with Teiotu’s new role, Michelle Warren has been appointed Australasia marketing manager.

Warren joined the company in March 2022 as marketing executive.

Growth plan

Geneva-based Sales Executive Director Angelo Capurro said the two promotions are part of the company’s growth plan to have 23 ships by 2025, strengthening its position as market leader in Europe, South America, the Middle East and Southern Africa.
