Harper will lead the company’s internal and external communications to build the Ambassador brand in the UK, working with the line’s external PR agency LOTUS.
‘A pivotal milestone’
The new manager has a travel background with cruise and ferry experience from former positions at P&O Ferries in 2020, DFDS and as the PR manager for Saga’s cruise and holidays division.
Describing being involved in ‘the launch of the first British cruise line since 2010’ as an ‘honour,’ Harper said, ‘I followed the company’s journey from its launch earlier this year – a pivotal milestone as the cruise industry started to emerge from the COVID pandemic and cruise companies commenced sailing again.
‘I’m proud and excited to have joined the team at Ambassador Cruise Line as we embark on this exciting set-up journey, before we go operational and start sailing in April 2022.'
