As a member of Huna Totem’s leadership team, Da Silva will oversee global marketing and communications for the 50-year-old company with businesses across tourism, real estate and government services. She reports to Huna Totem President/CEO Russell Dick.

Brand-building track record

'Christine has a rich background in building brands and leading teams across well-known travel and tourism brands,' Dick said. 'For over 25 years, she has developed integrated marketing, communications and partnership strategies that drive growth, sales and awareness. We’re very excited to welcome her to the team.'

NCL experience

Da Silva was with NCL from 2018, when she joined as VP public relations, until 2022, and held roles of increasing responsibility, ultimately, SVP branding and communications.

Earlier, she was VP communications at Dream Hotel Group, and before that she had a long association with Wyndham Hotel Group as VP marketing communications. Besides brand building, Da Silva has extensive expertise in integrated marketing, megaphone partnerships, narrative development, reputation management, trade and employee engagement, event management and crisis management.

'Huna Totem and the community it represents are incredibly special, and I am very fortunate to be a part of the work we’re doing,' Da Silva said.
