New SunStone roles for Christian Lund and Ulrik Hegelund

Christian Lund is assuming the presidency of SunStone Ships in Miami as Ulrik Hegelund moves to CFO of SunStone Maritime Group in Denmark.

Hegelund has been president of SunStone Ships the past four years. In his new role, he'll have overall responsibility for the Group's accounting, budgeting, cash flow, reporting, legal and IT matters. Finance teams in the company's Miami and Madeira offices will report to Hegelund.

Christian Lund

Lund, 40, has been working in the Group's Miami companies — ISP, FleetPro and CMI — for the past 14 years. Now, as SunStone president, he'll be responsible for group strategy and long-term planning, and instrumental in developing the shipboard management strategy. SunStone said this entails maximizing the skills, involvement and empowerment of the onboard teams to ensure the best possible expedition fleet.
