Together with Arjan van der Linde, terminal manager & manager shore power and Mai Elmar, executive director, Hoogeweij will be responsible for the business operations of Cruise Port Rotterdam.

With a hospitality and marketing background, Hoogeweij has worked as executive manager at Cruise Port Rotterdam for over nine years.

Cruise Europe Council

He has been a member of the Cruise Europe Council since mid-2022 and took on the roll of chair of the port association's Marketing Committee last May. He is also a member of Hospitality Platform Rotterdam.

'We are looking forward to many constructive cruise years to come for which we thank the cruise lines for their trust and collaboration,' noted Elmar in announcing the port's new structure.
