For the past two years Fonagy has been senior account director for NCL at Anne Wild & Associates, the company’s representative agency in Australia and New Zealand since the local brand launched in 2015.

She previously worked in public relations for Silversea Cruises for six years.

Delighted to join the team

‘I have thoroughly enjoyed working with NCL over the past two years and I am delighted to join the team in a new capacity to further strengthen the brand in the APAC region,’ Fonagy said.

‘With a raft of milestone moments and projects in the pipeline, such as the imminent launch of new ship Norwegian Viva and the return of Norwegian Spirit for her second local season later this year, this is an exciting time to come on board,’ she said.

Excellent reputation

‘Leanne has earned her excellent reputation in the ANZ cruise industry and we are thrilled to  welcome her to the NCL family and to continue the wonderful working relationship we have already established with her and the extended AWA team,’ Norwegian Cruise Line’s Ben Angell, VP and MD APAC, said.
