Norwegian Cruise Line appointed Megan Porter as its dedicated business development manager for New Zealand.

This is in the lead up to Norwegian Cruise Line’s return to New Zealand after three years and the debut of Norwegian Spirit in New Zealand in January 2023.

Porter was district sales manager for the Royal Caribbean Group for eight years and before that held cruise consultancy roles with Air New Zealand and Cruise Holidays New Zealand.

New Zealand’s reopening

‘We are delighted to welcome Megan to the NCL team in New Zealand at such an exciting time for both our brand and the broader industry, with our entire fleet sailing once more and New Zealand waters reopening for cruising next month,’ Damian Borg, sales director Australia and New Zealand, said.

‘This appointment demonstrates our Partners First promise in action, offering dedicated on-the-ground support to our valued travel partners across New Zealand who are fielding significant interest from travellers keen to set sail again,’ Borg said.
