Norwegian Cruise Line expands sales presence in Australasia

Norwegian Cruise Line appointed three new members to its Australia-wide sales team who will report to Angela Middleton, senior sales manager Austraiia-New Zealand.

Lara Anderson takes up the role of business development manager for Victoria and Tasmania, Sheena Smith is the new business development specialist for Victoria and Samantha Morgan is the business development specialist for New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory and Western Australia.

Seasoned pros

Anderson, a 25-year travel and cruise veteran, was most recently national business development manager for Creative Cruising.

Smith, who will work closely with Anderson, will support home-based and Flight Centre agents. She has worked in the travel industry for more than 15 years, including a senior position with Australian Pacific Touring.

Morgan, promoted from the company’s sales support team, will cover Flight Centre and home-based agents across New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory and all agents in Western Australia.

Norwegian Viva addition and Asia return

‘We’re thrilled to announce these three new appointments at such an exciting time for Norwegian Cruise Line,’ Damian Borg, director of sales, Australia and New Zealand,’ said.

‘As we count down to the debut of Norwegian Viva in Europe in August and our return to cruising in Asia after more than three years, our growing team is ready to hit the ground running,’ Borg said.
