Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection appoints Jackie Barney VP marketing

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection appointed Jacqueline (Jackie) Barney as VP marketing.

She will report directly to CEO Douglas Prothero.

SVP Angela Composto has left

Angela Composto, SVP sales and marketing, left The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection in December after four years and has launched her own company, Glenmoor Marketing, in Hampton Roads, Virginia.

'We thank her for her dedication to the early years of our venture and wish her the best as she embarks on her new endeavor,' the company told Seatrade Cruise News.

In September Kristian Anderson joined The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection in a new role, VP global sales.

Joins from Disney

Barney brings 15 years of experience, most recently with Adventures by Disney and National Geographic Expeditions, where she led the marketing strategy and sales planning. Earlier roles were with Silversea Cruises, Perry Ellis International and Seabourn.

Throughout her career she has been responsible for developing and executing the branding and marketing strategies across print and digital platforms, social media, customer acquisition/retention and public relations.

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection plans to introduce its first yacht, Evrima, in May.
