Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection promotes Ernesto Fara to president

Fara joined the company in 2020 as CFO and board member, following six years with Silversea Cruises in Monaco as CFO and board member.

He has directed fleet deployment while financing the two new superyachts, Ilma and Luminara, set for introduction in 2024 and 2025.

Strategic planning and performance improvement experience

'Ernesto has over 10 years of experience in the luxury cruise industry in business development, sales and marketing, and operations. He has extensive experience in strategic planning and performance improvement programs,' Chairman and newly appointed CEO Jim Murren said.

The news follows yesterday's announcement that Murren was adding CEO duties as Douglas Prothero moves to a strategic advisor role (and continues on the board).
