Michael McCarthy, who's led investor relations at Royal Caribbean Group for almost three years, moved to Silversea Cruises in a new role.

15 years of Royal Caribbean Group experience

McCarthy has spent 15 years in various roles at Royal Caribbean Group. They included VP on-board revenue and associate VP and director roles in consumer outreach, sales and service, and on-board marketing manager.

'We have a long-standing commitment to developing our employees and providing them with the opportunity to advance their careers,' Royal Caribbean Group said in a statement congratulating McCarthy on his new role.
