Scenic hires Tim Burtch as Midwest regional sales director

Scenic Group USA hired luxury cruise sales veteran Tim Burtch as its new regional sales director - Midwest.

Burtch will be responsible for supporting the sales and trade marketing efforts of Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours and Emerald Cruises’ travel partners based in the Midwest, which includes Minnesota, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Montana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana and Ohio. He is based in the Detroit area.

16 years at Oceania Cruises

Burtch brings 32 years of travel industry experience, including 28 in the cruise segment, most recently as regional sales and marketing director at Oceania Cruises, where he was salesperson of the thear three times during 16 years. Earlier, he was director of franchise development at Carlson Wagonlit. He began his cruise career at Norwegian Cruise Line, advancing from district sales manager to overseeing a regional sales team in the Midwest and Pacific Northwest.
