Travel Leaders Network tapped former Seabourn executive Eva Damato as senior director, luxury lifestyle marketing.

Damato will be responsible for overall strategy and growth of the Luxury Leaders Alliance, Travel Leaders’ community for top-selling luxury sellers. Additionally, she will serve as an expert resource for luxury-focused suppliers and members and advise the executive team on the latest trends and issues in the luxury travel marketplace.

Damato joins from Seabourn Cruise Line, where she was senior manager of national & strategic accounts, regularly engaging with the Luxury Leaders Alliance at events and providing guidance to members. Before Seabourn, she steered the domestic leisure division at Discover the Palm Beaches and held various roles at luxury hotel The Breakers Palm Beach.

'The perfect fit'

Stephen McGillivray, chief partner marketing officer at Internova Travel Group, said Damato's 'deep understanding of luxury advisors and experience on the supplier side' makes her 'the perfect fit to lead the Luxury Leaders Alliance.'

He continued: 'This exclusive, top-performing group of luxury advisors needs a leader who can highlight the unique value Travel Leaders offers to high-end travel sellers, and Eva is poised to take it to the next level.  She’s ready to help and challenge us to inspire even further growth in our advisors’ luxury sales. She has the full support of the Travel Leaders Marketing team along with our broader resources across Travel Leaders Network to help her succeed in her new role.'

Nearly $1b in luxury sales

Founded in 2021 as the first of Travel Leaders Network's Leaders Alliance communities, the Luxury Leaders Alliance now numbers more than 500 members who collectively produce nearly $1b in luxury sales. Membership is by invitation only, requiring approval from Travel Leaders and a nomination from the agency owner. To be considered, individual advisors must have a minimum of $1m in annual luxury sales along with other industry endorsements and Travel Leaders Network requirements.

Last year the Luxury Leaders Alliance hosted its inaugural International Luxury Forum in Croatia. It offers exclusive events such as the Luxury Forum at the EDGE Conference, virtual meet & greets, fireside chats with luxury supplier leaders, and participation in the upcoming Internova PLUS event at The Vinoy in St. Petersburg, Florida. The Alliance also organizes advisor participation in top luxury trade events like ILTM, DUCO and Pure.
