Seatrade Cruise Global announces 'State of the Industry' keynoters
Jason Liberty, Josh Weinstein, Pierfrancesco Vago, Harry Sommer and Kelly Craighead address the 'State of the Global Cruise Industry' at Seatrade Cruise Global's keynote session.

Liberty is president/CEO, Royal Caribbean Group and chairman, Cruise Lines International Association; Weinstein is president/CEO, Carnival Corp. & plc, Vago is executive chairman, cruise division, MSC Group; Sommer is president/CEO, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings; and Craighead is president/CEO, CLIA.
The session will take place April 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Miami Beach Convention Center and is sponsored by the Hong Kong Tourism Board.
Topics and moderator
Key topics will include the industry’s commitment to pursuing net zero emissions by 2050, market demand trends for 2024 and beyond, digitalization and the use of AI, the impact of world events on cruising, product innovation and the major companies' return to newbuild orders.
The moderator is Anne Kalosh, editor, Seatrade Cruise News.
'The conference will kick off with a lineup of dynamic leaders — including, for the first time, Harry Sommer — digging into the most timely and critical issues of the global cruise business,' Kalosh said. 'I'm looking forward to what comes out of this powerhouse panel. With the industry back in full force, I expect a lively discussion that hones in on opportunities as much as challenges.'

The world's largest cruise industry event takes place April 8-11. This year's theme is 'The Evolution of Cruise.'
More content than ever before
The four-day conference has more content than ever before and features panels and workshops on new developments across sustainability, technology and entertainment, a new session focused on AI, an entire one-day program dedicated to developments in cruise retail, curated in partnership with the Moodie Davitt Report, and a 'New Presidents Panel.'
The 2024 conference will also see the return of the 'Tomorrow’s Talent Today' program along with the 'European CEO Panel,' 'Luxury Cruising CEO Panel' and 'Expedition Cruising CEO Panel.'

F&B@Sea
Running in tandem with Seatrade Cruise Global is F&B@Sea, taking place at Mana Wynwood Convention Center April 10-11. It is focused on the cruise food & beverage experience and aimed at those responsible for food, beverage, guest experience and hotel operations.
Attendees can explore both events with shuttle buses running every 30 minutes between the two April 10-11.
