Chukka MOU
Already, as a consultant, one of his initiatives led to a memorandum of understanding between Huna Totem and Chukka Caribbean Adventures to work together on port development and shore excursion attractions throughout the Caribbean and Alaska.
Moeller spent 35 years at Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, ultimately as SVP commercial development. Before that, he held positions within destination and port services, finance and accounting.
Wilderness Landing development
As NCLH he was instrumental in working with Huna Totem Corp. to develop the commercial terms for Icy Strait's Wilderness Landing pier, gondola system and newly procured whale boats.
'I am excited to leverage my experience to contribute to the growth and success of [Huna Totem],' Moeller said. 'Over the past five years, through our collaborative efforts, I have witnessed firsthand the exceptional work ethic, professionalism and dedication that this organization embodies. I am thrilled to now be part of this team.'
Whittier, Klawock, Juneau projects
Besides ongoing development at Icy Strait, Huna Totem's cruise-related projects include a new pier at Whittier, its Na-Dena` joint venture with fellow Native regional corporation Doyon and their work alongside Klawock Heenya Corp. to foster Klawock as a destination and a Juneau pier development.
