PEPR, which stands for Philip Engelberts Public Relations, is a pun on the word ‘pepper.’

Engelberts, who was born in the Netherlands, was based in Sydney as public relations manager for the South Australian Tourism Commission from 1998 until 2003, when he founded PEPR.

Clients

His current clients include Cunard, Explora Journeys, Aqua Expeditions, Flight Centre which recently expanded its cruise division, Tourism Fiji, Tourism Tropical North Queensland and Tourism Western Australia.

He said the work has felt more like a hobby and he looks forward to the company’s 30th anniversary celebrations.

At Thursday’s event, Engelberts introduced Lyndsey Gordon, the former P&O Cruises Australia public relations manager who has joined the company.
