SH said the position was created to meet ‘exploding demand’ and covers the whole of Europe apart from the UK and Ireland, where first quarter bookings were up 900% in 2024.

Building partnerships

Harrison will report directly to CCO Patrizia Iantorno. She said, ‘...He’s a great results-focused leader. But what above all makes him a perfect fit for Swan Hellenic is his genuine passion for promoting the best guest experiences while forming enduring, mutually profitable relations with partners across countries and cultures.’

Experience

Harrison brings over 20 years’ experience in the luxury cruise market, mostly gained in a series of sales director and VP of sales roles at Silversea Cruises, SeaDream Yacht Club and Uniworld Boutique River Cruises. He has experience in engineering initiatives that have achieved triple-digit increases in sales, reported SH.

Harrison said of the cruise line, ‘It’s a remarkable brand and I look forward to spearheading its accelerating sales across Europe in partnership with existing and new travel trade partners.’
