This was announced today by Ellen Bettridge, president and CEO of Uniworld, who is in Sydney to be keynote speaker at CLIA Australasia’s Cruise360 on Thursday.

Ager has been with Uniworld's parent company, The Travel Corporation, for 4.5 years and was GM.

She has had wide experience selling luxury products such as Mandarin Oriental Bangkok and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

Second largest source market

‘Australia is our second largest source market for Uniworld and if early bookings are any indication, 2023 will be outstanding,’ Bettridge said.

‘In Australia alone, 2023 bookings are 38% higher than 2019 and outpacing all other regions.

‘This result has been achieved through the hard work, resilience and creativity of the team under the fantastic leadership of Alice Ager.’

Critical rebuild period

‘This is a wonderful acknowledgement and I am delighted to be leading our team through this critical rebuild period,’ Ager said.

‘I am excited to see this region reach its full potential with our trade partners after what we’ve all been through.’
