AmaWaterways named Jenn Lee, president of Vacation Planners, as godmother of its new Douro River vessel, AmaSintra.

Lee will preside at christening festivities scheduled for April 17, 2025.

Passion and dedication

Lee also will join the Dec. 4 virtual event, 'Sip & Sail into 2025 with AmaWaterways,' together with Karst, Director of Cruise Managers Wade Korzan, Emmy-winning TV host Samantha Brown and other special guests. This live-streamed event will preview new experiences coming to AmaWaterways in 2025, including AmaSintra.

Two itineraries

AmaSintra will sail two seven-night itineraries, 'Enticing Douro,' roundtrip Porto, and 'Flavors of Portugal & Spain,' which sails between Porto and Vega de Terron. Passengers will be able to indulge in renowned wines amid sun-kissed vineyards, savor Portuguese and Spanish cuisine and visit charming villages and historical cities.
