VP Juan Trescastro will now lead itinerary, destinations and government affairs, while Jessica Fleisher, AVP sales strategy & distribution, will move to oversee revenue and pricing leadership.

Founding team member

'Diana Block Garcia came on board in late 2017 after some clever convincing from Nirmal [Saverimuttu, president and chief experience officer] to join the team as one of our founding members to help us build our new business. After almost five years, and having made an indelible and significant impact, she has let me know that "Retirement 2.0" is just around the corner,' CEO Tom McAlpin said.

'Passion, focus and relentless commitment'

McAlpin thanked Block Garcia for 'her passion, focus and relentless commitment to shaping Virgin Voyages,' adding: 'We still have lots to do together, and are grateful to have had her along for this journey.'

Block Garcia joined Virgin in November 2017 as VP pricing and proposition, adding itinerary and destination responsibility in January 2019 as VP revenue, Itinerary & destination. She became SVP revenue, sales & itinerary in October 2019.

Earlier she had worked for Pullmantur following many years with Royal Caribbean Group, where she had VP roles in revenue management, deployment/itinerary planning and newbuild.
