Follows Strachan’s earlier wildlife cruise

The presenter sailed on board Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ Borealis for four nights at the start of August during its ‘Exploring Rugged and Remote Greenland and Iceland’ voyage.

She delivered two talks – the first on making British wildlife programmes and the second, a Q&A as part of the ship’s ‘Audience With’ programme.

She also participated in a live Q&A to an online audience of almost 20,000 people on the Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines Facebook page.

The cruise line’s journey experience coordinator, James Moss, said, ‘Our guests relish the opportunity to learn more about nature and wildlife – demonstrated by the huge number who joined us in person and online to hear Michaela talk about her extraordinary career.’

Norway

The presenter will join Balmoral’s five-night Norwegian Fjords cruise leaving from Newcastle on August 26.

Africa

During the Cape Town part of Bolette’s ‘Intrepid Beauty of Africa and The Indian Ocean’ cruise in January 2024, she will host talks and accompany passengers on a selection of tours, including to Boulders Beach and Table Mountain National Park.
