Bremerhaven Cruise Port started the year handling two homeporting operations – for TUI Cruises’ Mein Schiff 3 and Phoenix Reisen's Amera – welcoming 5,900 cruise passengers in total.

GPH assumed management of the facility earlier this month, having secured the concession in 2023.

The cruise port expects to receive over 90 cruise calls and 300,000 passengers during the 2025 season.

‘We are thrilled to host both ships during our opening week and to begin this exciting chapter under Global Ports Holding,’ said Timo Schön, GM, Bremerhaven Cruise Port.

‘Together with our dedicated team, our focus is on delivering exceptional service, showcasing the unique charm of Bremerhaven, and positioning the port as a key homeport within the region.’
