The program offers 127 voyages, including seven completely new itineraries and 37 maiden calls
Expeditions to the Azores, the Great Lakes and a return to Brazil for the first time in 15 years are highlights of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises' newly released 2022/23 itineraries.

Pre-bookings are available for the October 2022 to September 2023 program. Brochures will be released in March for Hapag-Lloyd's three expedition vessels and in April for the Europa and Europa 2 luxury ships. Reservations will open once the brochures are out.

New routes and destinations

The program features 127 voyages, including seven completely new itineraries and 37 maiden calls.

Expedition ships Hanseatic Nature, Hanseatic Inspiration and Hanseatic Spirit account for many of the innovative itineraries and destinations, including a round-trip in the Azores Islands by Hanseatic Spirit. In another highlight, Hanseatic Inspiration will sail four Great Lakes cruises.

Back to Brazil

But the luxury ship Europa is also going to call at many new destinations — no fewer than 14, ranging from Newhaven in the UK to Coquimbo in Chile. Moreover, Europa will return Hapag-Lloyd to Brazil for the first time in 15 years.

Europa 2 will once more cruise to Japan, but also visit China's Tianjin — for an excursion to Beijing — for the first time. The vessel will also perform a number of 'IN2BALANCE' cruises with coaches and trainers on board to lead classes in Far Eastern relaxation techniques and balanced nutrition.

As always, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises is not only offering a very diverse portfolio of destinations but also durations. In the case of Europa, for example, itineraries range from a four-day Mediterranean jaunt to lengthy legs of up to 62 days.
