The seven were Carnival Liberty, Vision of the Seas, Disney Wish, Independence of the Seas, Sea Cloud Spirit, Carnival Paradise and Carnival Elation.

Record one-day passenger count on Dec. 27

On Dec. 27, Nassau Cruise Port handled 29,316 passengers, topping the prior one-day passenger record of 28,554 passengers in March last year.

Nassau has six berths and is able to handle the world's largest cruise ships.
