AIDA ships first to call at Dubai’s new Cruise Terminal

The new terminals at Dubai Harbour, located between the islands of Bluewaters and The Palm Jumeirah in the heart of Dubai, extend over 120,00sq mtr.

Popular tourist attractions, beaches and famous landmarks of the city, such as the 250-meter-high observation wheel Ain Dubai and the Burj Al Arab, are just a short distance from the new facility.

Two international airports are also easy to access.

Winter 2021/22 itineraries

Between late November 2021 and mid-April 2022, AIDA Cruises is offering seven-day trips from Dubai including an overnight stay. Other destinations on the itineraries are Abu Dhabi and Muscat in Oman.

AIDA ships have been visiting the United Arab Emirates, a popular cruise destination for German vacationers in winter, since 2006.

In 2018, Carnival Corp. & plc entered into a strategic partnership with Shamal Holding, with the aim of transforming Dubai into the major maritime tourism hub serving the region. Part of the agreement included the two companies developing the Dubai Cruise Terminal, where the first test run with AIDAprima and AIDAvita took place, to become the primary hub for Carnival Corporation’s homeporting and transit operations in the region.
