Ambassador launches 2023/24 Ambience and Ambition itineraries

Together the two ships will sail six continents and 58 countries, calling at 165 port
Ambassador Cruise Line has unveiled its 2023/24 itineraries for Ambience, which launched last month, plus its second ship Ambition which begins sailing next year.

Ambition will depart from both the line’s homeport of London Tilbury and six new regional UK ports –  Newcastle, Dundee, Liverpool, Belfast, Bristol and Falmouth – while Ambience will sail a 120-night around the world cruise. Collectively, the two ships will visit six continents and 58 countries, calling at 165 ports and offer a number of themed cruises.

The CEO went on to say that guests have described Ambassador’s sailings as homely, offering ‘exceptional cuisine, amazing entertainment, with a crew that treat guests like family and delivers outstanding service.’ 

Around the world cruise 

Ambience’s world cruise comrpises six continents, 24 countries and 34 ports of call. Departing January 6, 2024 the ship will sail via the Azores and Caribbean, transit the Panama Canal and call at islands in the South Seas. It will move on to New Zealand and Australia, before exploring Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. 

Indian Ocean islands are stepping stones to Kenya, with Durban and Cape Town other destinations in Africa for passengers to explore. 

Tristan da Cunha, the most remote inhabited archipelago in the world, is also on the itinerary. 

Passengers cross the Atlantic to Brazil for Rio de Janeiro, before returning home via Cape Verde, Casablanca in Morocco and Lisbon in Portugal. Prices start at £9,229pp.  

Ambition 

The West Indies, Brazil’s Amazon and Norway are among the destinations Ambition will sail once it begins operating, with 49 sailing available in 2023. Its maiden voyage on March 4 consists of Scandinavia with sojourns in Norway, Denmark and Sweden. Passengers will encounter the island city of Kristiansand, Norway, Copenhagen, Denmark and Gothenburg, Sweden. Prices start at £569pp. 

On December 11, 2023 the 1200-passenger ship will operate a 38-night ‘Christmas & New Year in the West Indies & Dutch Antilles’ programme which includes visits to the capitals of Bridgetown in Barbados and St. George’s in Grenada, as well as Ponta Delgada in the Azores, Portugal. On January 18, 2024 the ship will sail the Amazon and the West Indies for 42 nights calling Brazil and Portugal, as well as the Caribbean islands of Tobago, Grenada and Barbados. For each cruise, prices start at £3,129pp and £3,449pp, respectively. 

Launch offers
