ANA to sponsor CLIA UK&I Destination Showcase and Cruise Forum
Cruise Lines International Association UK and Ireland said All Nippon Airways (ANA) will be a sponsor of the CLIA Destination Showcase as well as the association’s annual Cruise Forum.
Japanese airline ANA flies all over Japan with an expansive network of over 130 routes, and connects travellers from Europe to Tokyo and beyond.
CLIA Destination Showcase
The CLIA Destination Showcase takes place October 6-8 in Porto and the annual Cruise Forum (location to be confirmed) will be held on December 19. At the former, ANA will have a networking stand at a cruise trade fair, while their branding will be included in the event collateral, shown on-screen during conference sessions, and displayed across associated marketing material and online platforms.
Showcase delegates will be hosted on board Norwegian Prima, with additional luxury and river ship visit options available. The trade fair, with all sponsors, will be held in the cruise terminal at the host port, Porto Leixoes in Matosinhos. A welcome dinner and the opportunity to join a choice of excursions in and around Porto will also be available.
CLIA Cruise Forum
ANA will also host a networking table at CLIA Cruise Forum and have similar exposure through branding. The one-day conference offers 1-2-1 networking opportunities for senior travel agents, agency managers, owners and media.
ANA delegates will join both events, and the brand will be given further publicity via marketing communications and a dedicated page for partners on CLIA's website.
Andy Harmer, CLIA UK & Ireland MD, said, ‘As travel continues to thrive across the globe, we are thrilled to have the support of ANA as a fly-cruise partner.
‘Japan is a hugely popular cruise hub, enjoyed by millions of travellers every year, and we look forward to working with ANA to further enhance their brand across the UK and Ireland market.’
Travelling to Japan
Julie Murphy, country sales manager, UK and Ireland, from ANA said, ‘...Japan is now fully reopened and we are seeing a strong recovery in visitors from overseas. Whilst relatively new to the cruise business, we would like to learn from the members, nurture the partnership and grow the business together with our trade partners. We look forward to meeting attendees at forthcoming CLIA events.’
