Taking place December 27-30, the ‘Europe on the Ganges’ itinerary includes Chandernagore, Bandel and Serampore and involves special interactions, cultural immersion experiences and events along the way.

The sailing will be hosted by chairman and founder of the cruise line, Raj Singh.

Highlights

Exploring former French colony Chandernagore, passengers can take a walk along the promenade to see French heritage monuments. They are met by rolling fields of crops and local industries as they visit Bansberia with a short stop at the Haneswari Temple, known for its unique architectural style along with the Ananta Basudeb temple.

The sailing moves from the French enclave to a former Portuguese settlement allowing visits of the Hooghly Imambara – one of the famous Shiya pilgrimage centers.

The next stop is former Danish colony Serampore to view the old quarters, see the Danish Tavern, St. Olav's Church and other Danish heritage monuments. Passengers can ride an e-rikshaw to visit a textile factory known for its block printing.

On the final morning of the voyage, returning to Kolkata, passengers visit Belur Math founded by Indian Hindu monk Swami Vivekananda.
