World Navigator is adding ports in Finland and Estonia in lieu of Russia
Atlas Ocean Voyages is substituting other ports for St. Petersburg on World Navigator's late summer Baltic cruises.

This follows Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Finland and Estonia instead

On the Aug. 26 Hamburg to Kiel and Sept. 7 round-trip Kiel itineraries, the ship will call at Kotka and Mariehamn, Finland. The Aug. 26 voyage includes a Kiel Canal transit, while the Sept. 7 departure will now also add Saaremaa, Estonia, where World Navigator will dock in the city center, adjacent to the medieval castle of Kuressaare.

'With unrest in Eastern Europe, we have adjusted our voyages and replaced our Russia calls with equally exciting and charming destinations in Finland and Estonia,' Atlas President Alberto Aliberti said. 'Guests will enjoy these unique and rarely visited destinations and immersive shore excursions to take in the rich cultures and breathtaking vistas of the Baltic.'

The news came the same day Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings said it is considering alternatives to St. Petersburg
