Atlas Ocean Voyages' second ship, World Traveller, is scheduled to debut in the Mediterranean next July.

It is the sister of the recently introduced World Navigator.

World Traveller is to enter service July 15, 2022, at Lisbon for an inaugural season of 11 voyages throughout the Mediterranean, Adriatic, Ionian and Aegean seas.

The ship's construction is 'very well along' at Portugal's WestSea Viana Shipyard, according to Atlas President Alberto Aliberti.

For bookings made with deposit by Sept. 30, 2021, travelers save 10% on all World Traveller itineraries and if they pay in full by Oct. 7, 2021, they'll get an additional 10% off the price for a total 20% savings.

Nine-night inaugural voyage

World Traveller's July 15 inaugural voyage from Lisbon to Palma de Mallorca, nine nights, will visit Spain’s Costa del Sol and the Balearic Islands. Destinations include Portimao, Portugal; Gibraltar; and Spain’s Cadiz (Seville), Puerto Banus, Málaga, Formentera and Ibiza.

World Traveller then charts course for France’s Cote d’Azur and the Italian Riviera. The July 24 voyage combines the Balearic Islands and the Cote d’Azur on a seven-night cruise from Palma de Mallorca to Nice, France, while the subsequent nine-night itinerary from Nice to Civitavecchia (Rome) concentrates on the Italian Riviera and features overnights at Monte Carlo and Civitavecchia.

Greece and Italy

Two voyages combine Greece and Italy’s southern coast. The Aug. 9, 10-night cruise sails from Civitavecchia to Piraeus and connects the Amalfi Coast, Sicily and Greece, with two nights in Positano, Italy, while the Sept. 7, 11-night voyage sails from Piraeus to Malta and focuses on the Greek Isles and Sicily. The Sept. 18 voyage that departs Malta combines the Balearic Islands with Sardinia, calls at Tunis, Tunisia; and concludes with an overnight at Málaga.

Greece and Adriatic

Travelers can also choose between two Greece and Dalmatian Coast voyages. They alternate departures from Piraeus or Venice, transit the Corinth Canal and call at the UNESCO World Heritage destinations of Kotor, Montenegro, and Dubrovnik and Hvar, Croatia.

The 10-night, northbound itinerary, Aug. 19, features an overnight at Hvar and adds calls at Itea (Delphi), Katakolon (Olympia), and Corfu, Greece; Saranda (Butrint), Albania; and Korcula, Croatia. The Aug. 29, nine-night southbound voyage includes a call at Rovinj, Croatia, and Gaios, Greece.

A seven-night voyage, departing Sept. 27 from Málaga to Lisbon, visits Gibraltar; Cueta, Spain; and Tangier, Morocco.

World Traveller concludes its inaugural season in the Atlantic with a six-night Madeira and Canary Islands voyage, departing Oct. 5 from Lisbon to Tenerife.

Crossing to Brazil

The ship then sails trans-Atlantic to Rio de Janeiro, calling at Cape Verde’s Santiago Island and Salvador da Bahia, Brazil, en route.
