Couples can exchange vows at ‘the end of the world’ on an Antarctica expedition with Atlas Ocean Voyages’ new 'Happy Ever Atlas' destination weddings and vow renewals.

Departing on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, 2022, World Navigator will offer couples and their companions what the line called 'the most adventurous destination wedding on earth.'

The 'Happy Ever Atlas' destination wedding package is complimentary for couples when registered in advance. Plus, the bride gets 50% savings on her stateroom when the wedding party books five or more rooms. The package includes a legal marriage license, valued at more than $650, and many additional inclusions.

The marriage license

Because the destinations visited fall under British Antarctica Treaty guidelines, couples fill out the BAT marriage application and pay £500, which Atlas will reimburse as part of the wedding package. The marriage license will be registered in London and recognized by the United Kingdom, which is also recognized by the US.

As with all Atlas 'luxe-adventure' expeditions, all passengers qualify for the new brand's 'All Inclusive All The Way' promise which, on Antarctica expeditions, includes round-trip air travel aboard private charter jet service direct to Ushuaia, Argentina.

Ashore or on board

For wedding couples, Atlas will provide a BAT-registered officiant to conduct the ceremony, a wedding coordinator and a professional wedding photographer. Depending on weather, ceremonies can be performed on land, with penguins, seals and other Antarctica wildlife to bear witness, or in shipboard venues, including World Navigator’s bridge.

Penguin jackets and other inclusives

The package includes the marriage license, one-tier wedding cake, digital photo package, welcome itinerary and gift bag, personalized bridal parasol, custom penguin jackets, flower bouquet and boutonniere, and custom nuptial announcements and thank you cards. World Navigator will also throw separate group bachelorette and bachelor parties, as well as host a wedding reception.

Additionally, the line will establish an online wedding registry, which allows family and friends to contribute to the couple’s voyage costs or other gifts. Family and friends can give upgraded transfers, excursions, spa services and more.
