Atlas Ocean Voyages' World Traveller will embark on its inaugural Antarctica season in 2022/23, joined by World Navigator returning for a second stint.

The sister ships will offer a choice of 20 expeditions, ranging from nine- to 20-night itineraries, sailing from November 2022 through March 2023.

World Navigator will sail shorter nine- to 11-night expeditions and one 20-night combination option, while World Traveller will offer extended programs of 13 to 20 nights.

Savings on bookings by March 31

Additionally, travelers who make a new booking through a travel advisor by March 31, 2022, can save up to $2,000 per suite or stateroom on these newly announced itineraries, as well as an additional 20% when paying in full.

World Traveller's longer itineraries

World Traveller will sail nine expeditions of 13, 16 and 20 nights, starting Nov. 1 with a 17-night program from Montevideo, Uruguay, to Ushuaia, Argentina. This voyage, as well as those Jan. 16 and Feb. 18, 2023,  will visit the Falkland Islands, South Georgia Islands, South Shetland Islands and the Antarctic Peninsula.

Three departures — Dec. 1, Dec. 14, Feb. 5 — cross the Antarctic Circle. On the Nov. 18, Jan. 3 and March 10 departures, World Traveller will visit Chile's Diego Ramirez Islandssituated in the Drake Passage. Apart from the Nov. 1 trip, alll World Traveller expeditions will sail round-trip from Ushuaia.

World Navigator's offerings include Tierra del Fuego

World Navigator will sail 11 round-trips from Ushuaia of nine, 11 and 20 nights starting Dec. 3. The ship's five nine-night departures feature some of the must-see sites throughout the South Shetland Islands and on the Antarctic Peninsula. World Navigator's 11-night expeditions departing Jan. 10, Jan. 30 and and March 2 will cross the Antarctic Circle.

The Dec. 12 expedition, nine nights, features Tierra Del Fuego, visiting Chile's fjord lands and glaciers. Travelers can combine the Tierra Del Fuego expedition with the subsequent 20-night Antarctica immersive expedition, departing Dec. 21, for an epic Tierra Del Fuego and Antarctica New Year’s expedition.

World Traveller debuts in July

World Traveller is scheduled to debut in July 2022 in the Mediterranean, with sisters World Seeker, World Adventurer and World Discoverer to join the fleet by the end of 2023.
