The Australasian delegation will be led by the chairman of the Australian Cruise Association, Capt. Phil Holliday, and CEO Jill Abel and will include the New Zealand Cruise Association CEO Kevin O’Sullivan.

O'Sullivan, Holliday and Abel will take part in an April 27 conference panel discussion, 'Australia and New Zealand Regional Developments,' chaired by Joel Katz, MD of Cruise Lines International Association Australasia.

First exhibited in 1994

The Australian Cruise Association, which was Cruise Down Under, and representatives from New Zealand exhibited for the first time at what is now Seatrade Cruise Global in 1994 under the banner ‘Cruise Australia and New Zealand.’ Apart from during the pandemic, they have exhibited every year since.

‘We are looking forward to having a face-to-face presence again at this important event for the first time since 2019,’ Abel said.

‘Attending this event gives our members the opportunity to meet with key decision makers in one place at one time and have discussions around the important destination development which has taken place around Australia,’ she said.
