Barcelona records significant COVID-19 recovery numbers

The Port of Barcelona handled 670,439 cruise passengers during the first half of 2022.

Although this represented a significant recovery from the COVID-19 shutdown, it was a 47.5% decrease from 1.3m cruisers in the first six months of 2019, before the pandemic.

Among this year's travelers, 360,682 embarked or disembarked in Barcelona, and the remaining 309,757 were in transit.
