An overnight in Jost Van Dyke is featured on Windstar's new 'Beach Fun & Sun' itinerary
Windstar Cruises crafted a new 2023 Caribbean itinerary that it says is 'just the thing to shake off the winter blahs.'

'Beach Fun & Sun: A Remote Caribbean Getaway' offers a week in some of the most beautiful islands including St. Maarten, Antigua, St. Barts, Anguilla, Jost Van Dyke (overnight), Virgin Gorda and Tortola.

The Nov. 4 sailing will take place on Windstar’s all-suite Star Pride and the other eight cruises are aboard the 342-passenger sailing yacht Wind Surf.

Daily water sports

Both yachts’ water sports platforms — which allow travelers to jump into the sea — will be operational daily on these cruises, except for embarkation/disembarkation days, so the sailings will focus on beaches, swimming, water sports and snorkeling.

Rates start at $2,599 per person.

Combination with 'Classic Caribbean'

'Beach Fun & Sun' can combine with Windstar’s 'Classic Caribbean' for a two-week cruise, as the itineraries alternate and both depart from St. Maarten. 'Classic Caribbean' calls at Dominica, Guadeloupe, St. Kitts and Nevis, with a repeat of St. Barts.

Plus, new Miami cruises start this December

Also new: Windstar will be sailing from Miami for the first time this December.

After the company relocated its offices to Miami from Seattle, with a grand opening in June, this deployment is particularly meaningful to staff and crew. 'Jungles & Jewels of the Central American Coast' stops at Key West before heading to Mexico, Belize, Guatemala and Honduras, then returning to Miami. The new 'Central America & the Panama Canal Revealed' cruise travels to Mexico, Belize, Honduras, Costa Rica and Panama from Miami.

New Costa Rica round-trip with Nicaragua maiden calls

In winter 2023, Windstar is introducing a seven-day round-trip Costa Rica cruise from Puerto Caldera. 'Naturally Costa Rica' features inaugural calls at San Juan del Sur and Corinto in Nicaragua. Fares start at $2,699 per person. This new option easily combines with a Windstar Panama Canal itinerary for a 14-day trip.

Among the other returning Caribbean itineraries are 'Windward Island Surfs & Sunsets,' a seven-day round-trip San Juan sailing; 'Windward Ways & Tobago Cays,' through the Windward and ABC Islands; and 'Yachtsman’s Caribbean,' a classic voyage focused on the private yachting scene.
